Reasoned viticulture


In order for the terroir to express itself fully, the vines need to be maintained and looked after all year round.

In two thirds of the vineyard area, we work the soil, and carry out griffage (a technique used to get rid of weeds). The other third is covered with grass to prevent erosion taking place on the steep slopes.

Each parcel is fertilized depending on soil analyses and when the vigour of the vines has been accessed.

We only treat our vines if there is a real risk of vine diseases introduced by parasites, a type of viticulture known as Lutte raisonnée (sustainable farming)
In order to make good and great wine, you need lovely quality grapes.
